Clocks

I did my first folk art clock in the Fall of 2008. I can’t remember having more fun doing anything.

They started being based on drawings I’d already done but one idea seems to have lead to another and now they’re going off in new directions all on their own. They’re all drawn by me on ply wood or pine boards cut out on a scroll saw, assembled with epoxy and painted with acrylic. The clock works are purchased in craft stores.

People seem to enjoy them and I’ve got a gazillion ideas so I think I’ll be making clocks and sculptures for a while.
